Announcing SeedNL’s new Programme Director

We are happy to announce that SeedNL has a new Programme Director, Willem Schoustra!

Over the past 4 years, Willem Schoustra was the Agricultural Counsellor for Vietnam and Thailand at the Dutch embassy in Hanoi. Before that, he worked as a Project manager Blue Growth and Food Security at the Ministry of Economic Affairs in the Netherlands. Additionally, he also worked as a national expert for the FAO in Rome.
Willem has a study background Animal Sciences at Wageningen University & Research. The development of sustainable agriculture in international contexts has been the central focus of his career.

Willem looks forward to continuing his journey in the agricultural sector by bringing SeedNL to the next level and hopes to meet the SeedNL community soon. “Building upon the strong reputation the Netherlands has in sustainable agriculture, I truly hope we can set inspirational examples in public-private collaboration and partnerships.”
