At the end of 2022, the first SeedNL Annual event took place at the KIT Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam. The SeedNL Community of Practice was finally able to meet in person to exchange experiences, learn from each other and make plans for the future. The conference focused on Public-Private Partnerships for Change and was brilliantly hosted by Simone van Trier.

Inspiring keynotes were delivered by Agnes Kalibata reflecting on her personal journey as well as AGRA's journey, Hugo Campos de Quiroz explained about the #breeding partnership between HZPC and International Potato Center (CIP) and Elijah Mwashayenyi enabled us to teleport to Tanzania talking about the approach of East-West Seed Knowledge Transfer and SEVIA project.

Break-out sessions focused on R&D, projectdesign, projectimplementation, enablingenvironment and #lobalpartnerships. Co-hosts from complementary organisations presented from personal experience after which an interactive group discussion followed. Findings will be shared soon in a conference communiqué.

Rene van Hell stated: "We need SeedNL to make sure we 'Speed(up)NL', how else are we going to reach our SDG targets?" Willem Schoustra pointed out: "We are all SeedNL and need to work together! My dream is for SeedNL to grow and for us to harvest more and more fruits (and tubers) of our shared efforts."

🌱 A BIG thank you to our keynote speakers, break-out hosts, convenant partners and the
SeedNL Community! Let's grow together!🌱
