Bangladesh
Bangladesh and the Netherlands are actively working on the Bangladesh-Netherlands Seed Platform. The intended outcome of this project is the development of a fully-fledged Bangladesh-Netherlands Seed Partnership with the vision to foster public-private collaboration, facilitate information sharing, and address challenges to private sector investments. The first initiative is to establish a platform with local secretariat. This will contribute to the vision of the Partnership and to the Netherlands' program on Sustainable Horticulture in Bangladesh.

Implemented by SeedNL, Wageningen University & Research, and Egyptian partners with Dutch support, it promotes transparency, efficiency, and investment through tools like a digital seed portal and a joint roadmap. The project ultimately aims to give farmers better access to climate-smart seed varieties, boosting resilience, food security, and sustainable growth

Ghana
The Ghana Seed Partnership (GSP) is a public–private coalition strengthening Ghana’s horticulture by improving performance, sustainability, and resilience through skills and market development, variety testing, and a stronger enabling environment. Working via four connected work packages - enabling environment, commercial seedling production, variety trials, and market development- it mobilizes Ghanaian and Dutch organizations to tackle productivity, regulatory, knowledge, and investment challenges across the vegetable seed sector.
